About this Location

Since 1941, the USO has been the nation’s leading organization to serve the men and women in the U.S. military and their families, throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back to their communities, the USO is always by their side.

The USO opened a center at Camp Pendleton on March 26, 2019 and has supported commands since January 2018.

Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is the Corps’ largest West Coast expeditionary training facility and home of the I Marine Expeditionary Force. More than 42,000 military & family members occupy base housing and the base has a daytime population of 70,000 military and civilian personnel. Many Marines and Sailors aboard Camp Pendleton deploy regularly to defend our great nation. USO Camp Pendleton looks forward to supporting these Service Members and Families by providing many valuable services and programs.

The USO is not a government agency, rather, we are a non-profit 501©(3) and rely on local support to fund the programs that make the biggest difference for those who serve.

Thank you so much for all that the USO does for families, especially during this very interesting time we live in and the unique holiday season. We moved here a year ago, ahead of my husband. We knew no one and could not live in military housing due to our dog (we have a rottweiler), so we felt very isolated. It felt very lonely before we started coming to the USO. Before the pandemic, we would come to the USO at least once a week, and it was always such a joy and friendly place. My twins loved coming to all of the events, playing at the center, and meeting new people. Your staff was always so friendly to us, and it was nice to interact with others. Thank you for being there for us, especially during that difficult transition. We really appreciate all that you do to support families! Have a wonderful weekend!!
